"Tomorrow" Times Four! Which is Your Favorite Rendition? Revisited!

Thoughtful Thursday KNOWSY Readers, the weather here in Southeastern CT is taking center stage once again, this time with a deluge of Rain! I have commented before about the "roller coaster" ride this region has been experiencing since last season and now the continuation in this season. Yes, we are quite familiar with the saying "April Showers Bring May Flowers", with that said, it should be positively blooming!

This particular post was actually written on 3/6/16, I am "updating" it today only in the sense of date not content.

"Tomorrow" was inspired by a quote which was generated by the site nametests.com with the question: What is your Personal Quote? This is the image/quote which was given:

I do Like that Quote, Wouldn't you Agree?!?

This leads me to the next part of "tomorrowness" so to speak, and yes, you guessed it: "Tomorrow" the well known song from the Movie(s) (both Theater and TV) as well as Broadway (On Stage: Local Schools/Theater Groups) Productions called: "Annie"!

Let's begin with the Original Annie Movie (1982) starring Carol Burnett, Albert Finney, Bernadette Peters, Ann Reinking, Tim Curry, with Aileen Quinn playing Little Orphan Annie.

The next version comes from the TV Movie (1999) which starred Victor Garber, Kathy Bates, Alan Cumming, Audra McDonald and Kristin Chenoweth, with Alicia Morton as Annie.

The third and latest version is another Big Screen Motion Picture released in 2014, the cast featured Jamie Foxx, Rose Byrne, Cameron DiazBobby Cannavale and Academy Award nominee Quvenzhane Wallis in the title role of Annie.

Lastly I need to give a nod to the 1977 Original Broadway Cast starring Reid Shelton, Dorothy Loudon, and Andrea McArdle as Annie, here is a clip of the cast performing a medley at the Tony Awards.

Well there you have it my KNOWSY Readerswhich is your favorite version? For myself it is a tossup, as a movie, I would go with the original 1982 version, as the best singing version, it is still Andrea McArdle!
